Terms of Use

SantaDrop · Last updated 5 October 2026

By using SantaDrop (the app and the website) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

The service

SantaDrop helps groups run gift exchanges: invite people, draw names, share wishlists and send anonymous messages. It is free, has no ads and no in-app purchases. We may change, pause or stop features at any time.

Who can use it

You must be 13 or older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the app with a parent or guardian’s permission.

Your account

You can use the app as a guest. If you add your email, you can sign in on other devices with a link we send you. Keep access to your email safe; anyone who can open your sign-in link can open your account.

Acceptable use

You can report or block a conversation in the app. We may remove content or suspend access that breaks these rules.

Your content

You own what you write. You give us permission to store and show it to the people in your exchange so the app can work. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

Gifts and money

The app does not sell, buy or deliver gifts and never handles payments. Budgets are suggestions agreed by your group. Any purchase you make from a link is between you and that shop.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it running and your pairings secret, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for gifts that are late, missing or not to someone’s taste.

Ending

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time from You → Settings → Privacy. We may end access for anyone who breaks these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use the app means you accept the new terms.
