Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. You can start or join an exchange as a guest. Adding your email is optional and lets you open your exchanges on another phone.
How do people join?
Share the invite link, the 6-letter code or the QR code. People can join in the app or in any web browser.
Can the organiser see who drew whom?
No. Pairings are secret from everyone, including the organiser. You only see your own giftee.
How many people do I need?
At least 3 people to draw names.
Someone joined late or left. What happens?
SantaDrop re-matches only the people affected, so most envelopes stay the same.
I didn't get the sign-in email.
Check your spam or promotions folder, wait a minute and try again. Links expire after a while, so always use the newest one.
How do I delete my data?
In the app go to You → Settings → Privacy → Delete my account and data.
