BiteSet
Terms and conditions
Last updated 25 August 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and BiteSet. By creating an account you accept them.
WHAT BITESET IS
BiteSet provides nutritionist-built meal plans, recipes, grocery lists, progress tracking and a members' community through a mobile app.
BiteSet is not medical care. The plans, macro targets and articles are general nutrition guidance, not personalised medical or dietetic treatment, and they do not replace advice from your doctor. Do not use BiteSet to treat a medical condition. Talk to a qualified professional before changing your diet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are under 18, have diabetes, kidney or liver disease, an eating disorder or a history of one, a food allergy, or if you take medication affected by diet. Stop and seek advice if you feel unwell. You are responsible for checking every recipe against your own allergies and intolerances before you cook or eat it.
YOUR ACCOUNT
You must be at least 16 to use BiteSet. Give accurate information when you sign up, keep your password to yourself, and tell us through Support if you think someone else has access to your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Your body metrics and goal drive the plan you receive. If they are wrong, the plan will be wrong.
SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENT
Access to plans, recipes, grocery lists and the community requires a paid subscription.
Subscriptions bought in the app are sold and billed by Apple through your App Store account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending. The price and billing period shown on the purchase screen at the time you buy are the ones that apply.
Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. We cannot cancel an App Store subscription on your behalf. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under their terms. Where a plan is granted directly by us rather than bought in the app, we will tell you in writing what it covers and how long it lasts.
We may change prices for future billing periods. If we do, we will give you notice in the app before the change applies to you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
WHAT YOU MAY AND MAY NOT DO
The recipes, plans, articles, images and software in BiteSet belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial use while your subscription is active.
You may not resell, redistribute or republish our recipes or plans, share your account with other people, scrape or bulk-download our content, reverse engineer the app, attempt to reach parts of the API you are not entitled to, or use BiteSet to build a competing product.
THE COMMUNITY
The community feed is for members to share meals and encouragement. You keep ownership of what you post, and you grant us a licence to host, display and distribute it inside BiteSet so the feature can work.
Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, hateful, harassing, sexual, or misleading; anything promoting disordered eating, extreme restriction, purging or unsafe weight loss; anyone else's photograph or personal information without their permission; spam, advertising or referral links; or medical claims presented as fact.
Report anything that breaks these rules using the report action on the post. You can also hide a post or block its author. We review reports and may remove content, or suspend or terminate an account, where we consider these rules broken. We are not obliged to monitor everything posted, and we do not endorse advice members give each other.
YOUR OWN CONTENT AND DATA
Your progress photos and gallery are private to your account. Community posts are visible to other members. You can delete your own posts, comments and photos at any time, and request deletion of your whole account from Settings. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
AVAILABILITY
We aim to keep BiteSet available but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may carry out maintenance that makes the app briefly unavailable. If we discontinue the service entirely we will give reasonable notice.
LIMITS ON OUR LIABILITY
BiteSet is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all the statutory rights your local law gives you.
ENDING THE AGREEMENT
You can stop using BiteSet at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if your payment fails, or if we are required to by law. When your account closes your access ends and your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell you in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use BiteSet after that means you accept the updated terms.
